In what colors, if any, do you already have nice lace up dress shoes? What is your office's dress code?

The Tie Bar Pocket Squares--too small?

Thanks for the help! I think I'll just go ahead and go for the 16" squares.

The Tie Bar Pocket Squares--too small?

Thanks for the reply! I do see that some of the squares on The Tie Bar are offered in 12 and 11.5, but it seems like most of the patterned silk are only offered in 10.5 and 16. Anyone have thoughts on 10.5?

The Tie Bar Pocket Squares--too small?

Hi all, I've been looking to invest in some pocket squares, and the ones on The Tie Bar seem to be a good value. My main concern about them is the size--they're listed at 10.5"x10.5" (they also have squares listed at 16"x16", but that seems too big). The smallest squares I've seen...

The Watch Appreciation Thread (Reviews and Photos of Men's Timepieces by Rolex, Patek Philippe, Brei

I would say no, at least not right away. My biggest concern is that they make no mention of who makes the movement and where the watches are put together (unless I'm missing something). If the movement was made by a respectable, proven company, I would think they would be bragging about that...

Allen Edmonds Appreciation Thread - reviews, pictures, sizing, etc...

I would say that is very abnormal for any pair of decent shoes, including AEs. Did you buy them as seconds? Did you get them very wet and not allow them to dry for an extended period (not sure if water damage would cause that to happen, but I'm sure someone on here would be)?

    Suitsupply NYC

I'm looking to buy a Suitsupply jacket in the Copenhagen fit, and I'm hoping to hear from someone who has experience with the Copenhagen jackets or suits. My regular suit size is a 40R, and I'm wondering if I should size up to a 42R since the Copenhagen seems to be a very slim fit. I'd also...

Ask A Question, Get An Answer... - Post All Quick Questions Here (Classic menswear)

Today I tried on a pair of Allen Edmonds Strands at the store. The size I tried on (9D) seemed to fit pretty well, except for the fact that, when the laces were fully tightened, the two sides of the shoe did not meet all the way along the laced part of the shoe, but instead formed a relatively...

    Proper fit for Oxfords?

Hello all, Long time lurker, first time poster (forgive me for being cliché). Today I tried on a pair of Allen Edmonds Strands at the store. The size I tried on (9D) seemed to fit pretty well, except for the fact that, when the laces were fully tightened, the two sides of the shoe did not...

What do you all think? Ok for business? Striping is not as blue as it looks in the picture.

    Question about new suit

Hey guys, I just picked up a dark grey Hart Schaffner Marx at Nordstrom Rack for a great deal. My concern is that the pattern may not be ideal for business settings. It's a subtle plaid, I don't know if you'd call it windowpane or not. Th stripes have some blue in them, but not as much as...
