Forgot what the SA told me but I think they have been there for about 5 years or so (?). The JL store is close to the AE store. The JL store is on the 2nd level heading towards Nordstrom. NYC is where the other JL store for the USA.- slimfit4me

One of the SA there generously spent about an hour of his time to educate me & to let me try out the different shoe lasts for proper fit. Their 7000 last was the best for for me. Putting on my Neumora this morning & the rear strap with the buckle broke off on the left shoe when I was buckling it. The strap broke off above where the stitching was at. Took the shoes back to the AE store for a refund. Didn't want to get a replacement pair since the same thing could happen...- slimfit4me

Johnston Murphy Aristocraft, made in USA?
Broke down today & bought myself the Crown Aristocraft line Georgetown II cap toe. It was the fit that got me. Even with my flat feet, I was able to fit the 9.5 D without any bowing on the side. These are 100% Made In USA.- slimfit4me

I have the similar thing going on with my walnut McAllister also. My black McAllister doesn't appear to have those issues on the brogueing though. I wonder if it could be related to certain batches having these issues? These were not show stoppers for me though.- slimfit4me

Johnston Murphy Aristocraft, made in USA?
If I remember correctly, their balmoral version has a chisel nose versus a round nose on the AE Park Avenue. I still have their Aldrich II cap toe & saddle shoes that are 20+ year old & they were made in the USA.- slimfit4me

I had to size down a half a size on the Kenilworth to a 9.5E from the 10E that I normally wear on the #5 last (McAllister & Neumok). Ordered a BB Navy Fitzgerald cut Blazer but not sure if it is the best for me... help :/
Their Fitzgerlad suit fits me nicely. A lot better than the slim suits I got from Macy's which are more roomy than the Fitzgerald. Good luck on your job hunt.- slimfit4me

Alden Shoe Trees?
