Shirt on jeans - tuck in or not? [images]

I see, thanks. Well, I hadn't tightened my sleeves in those pics, so that might have made them look a bit longer.. So what do you guys thinks of the shirts I bought? http://www.styleforum.net/t/280291/shirt-on-jeans-tuck-in-or-not-images/15#post_5147821

Oh excuse my English, it's black :D. And why's that? Not fashionable? I'm really a complete beginner when it comes to this.

Shirt on jeans - tuck in or not? [images]

I'm still keeping this thread alive to get some pointers for dressing up for my oral examination next week, really. Bought two new shirts today. http://i.imgur.com/hTJYWl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/JKXk2l.jpg I think I can wear both of these in formal and informal occasions, which is a plus...

Shirt on jeans - tuck in or not? [images]

Yeah, I tucked it in on NYE, wasn't too bad. Will be looking for a decent tailor now though. About to hit the town, so could still use some advice on the new shirts :)

Shirt on jeans - tuck in or not? [images]

Hi guys, I'm back :) I'm still trying to pick out a decent shirt to go with my suit. I only wear this suit once or twice a year, so I went with a regular store one, not really that fitting, but w/e. Since I only wear it very rarely I didn't have the need to dish out more money on one. Anyway...

Shirt on jeans - tuck in or not? [images]

Wow - that's deep. So when looking for shirts in the store, I should be aiming for a 'heavier'/rougher kind of fabric, when I want to wear it with jeans, right? And how exactly would a tailor change that shirt? Would he basically cut a part out of the tail and the front, then re-attach it, so...

Shirt on jeans - tuck in or not? [images]

Thanks for the advice guys, that gives me quite the idea to work with :) I wasn't planning on buying it from the internet though, I'll go to a few stores and find a shirt that 'matches' those examples. Quick question though - is a breast pocket(how are these called?) ok?

Shirt on jeans - tuck in or not? [images]

It's an oral defense of a project I did in a group (school project). I wanted to go in a suit, but the other males of the group said they don't feel comfortable in one so we all decided to go in the same 'style'. Which was jeans+dressed shirt for them. Not as classy, I agree, but it can work, if...

Shirt on jeans - tuck in or not? [images]

Guess I'll have to become a cowboy then! Tried it with a different belt, I think it looks a bit better, but still meh.. Problem is I haven't got a lot of shirts. All the other ones I'd not even dare step outside with (and in this one I would, so go figure!) so I'm kinda forced here...

Shirt on jeans - tuck in or not? [images]

Heh, gotta say you guys are right. Should've thought of that when I bought the shirt, lol. I guess I'll always look like a cowboy, no matter how I pull it off. I'll try it with a slimmer belt, though. But really, is it that bad?

Shirt on jeans - tuck in or not? [images]

Hi everyone. I'm new here :) Felt like putting on my NYE outfit last night, but ran into a problem. I'm totally not sure if I should be tucking my shirt into my jeans or not. I have included pictures to show my problem: (Don't mind my cuffs btw., didn't close them.) I'm having a casual dinner...
