How do I remedy dried out leather?
I picked up this bag from the thrift store yesterday, and the leather is very dry, I have put tons of lexol on it, but am wondering if there is something else I should be doing to prevent the leather from cracking. The exterior seems to have a very hard finish on it, I was hoping to soften it...- Hoofit

Florsheim Imperial....are they shell cordovan?
I thrifted a pair of Florsheim Imperials that appear to be shell cordovan. I wanted a little help from you guys. The photos aren't top quality but I will get some better shots over the weekend. Are there any tale-tale signs that I should look for?- Hoofit
