I noticed that the bridle leather snap tab closure on the TWEED & TWILL version of the Original Briefcase is on the outside, compared to the regular Original Briefcase which is semi-concealed by the exterior pocket. Have you considered the Black Twill & Tweed? In terms of formality, I'd think Black > Navy > Brown > Otter > Tan The most versatile would be Brown & Navy. If you wear a lot of denim, Brown would probably give a better contrast. I wish I had one in all colors... Like a women's handbag.- Cancer

My Filson 256 has started to smell due to moisture. It was kept for sometime in an enclosed space while it was still slightly damp. Is there anyway to clean the bag and remove the smell? I've tried water and a damp cloth, and even vodka. Also, should I look into rewaxing the bag? The oil...- Cancer

Haven't had anything turned up on search. These look like pretty good quality to me, although, I can't justify the price though, it looks like just thick canvas and bits and pieces of leather to me. The strap is probably nylon, unlike the 220...- Cancer
