I hadn't meant to be pretentious or ostentatious with the hat or the collar bar, I just like the shape that the collar bar gives the collar and the way it frames the tie, but if it comes off that way then I guess I'd better go hat less and wear a regular point or Italian collar. So sorry, I had completely forgotten about the all-important tie and pocket square. I will be wearing a red Charvet tie with pin-sized polka-dots and a white Charvet pocket square with yellow tipping.
