I’m always too late for these threads- by the time I check the link, the tie is sold out! The link to the cappelli medallion tie from tweedy goes to a 404 which is a shame, I’d love to get this tie. Not sure my budget extends to the HN white as I was going to get a couple of ties.

Excellent. I have already put my tux in for tailoring. He wouldn’t believe the price I paid. I didn’t put the strip on the pants but will do so later on I think.

Just confirming that there are two brown bottolis from Spier and Mackay? There is a brown slub bottoli on the website now, but there is also a light brown bottoli that is sold out? Anyone have any pictures comparing the two? I think I like the light brown better but might compromise for the...

Is it a twill? One thing I don’t like about the website is not being able to see all the ties at once. Makes searching very hard looking through 42 pages on a phone!

I’m glad the mj bale collar shrink is a thing- mine have shrunk too and can’t fit any more. I started buying sizes above but in the end I’ve moved to spier and Mackay.

What if the tightness is at the front? Where the sleeve hits the shoulder? I’m guessing the armhole is too small?
