Is a slim tie suitable for a job interview?

If you have a collar with little depth and you use a regular tie then the knot just looks ridiculous compared to the collar! Skinny ties are certainly not close to regular sized ties in the neck area.

Is a slim tie suitable for a job interview?

Most of my shirts have collars which are more suited to a slim tie. Is this acceptable for a job interview or would a more traditional wider tie be better?

    How do you buy ties?

I find the best maker of ties is Profuomo Good knot, hang well.

    Anybody else love waistcoats?
