Skoaktiebolaget – Enzo Bonafé, Saint Crispin’s, Löf & Tung

Sure thing. Then again there are also always people like you, with their righteous emo rage, so it probably evens out quite nicely when all is said and done.

What absence? Ending what business? Perhaps you should have read a bit further down the page before letting your emo rage run amok?

Skoaktiebolaget – Enzo Bonafé, Saint Crispin’s, Löf & Tung

3 adblockers in fact. UBlock was the culprit, thanks for the tip. It would have dawned on me eventually, but time saved is.....uh, time saved. Now that I can see the whole thing, and most importantly the menu, let me shamefacedly retract what I said above. It's actually a nice design and...

Skoaktiebolaget – Enzo Bonafé, Saint Crispin’s, Löf & Tung

I'm on Firefox (latest) and Win10 also and I can't even see any drop-down menus. As it is now the site is basically unusable, but even if it worked as intended I much, MUCH(!) preferred the original site. It was a model of user-friendliness and easy navigation while also looking perfectly...

I've used the same spray for 3+ years on suede shoes and boots from Heschung, Cheaney and Crockett & Jones. I've never noticed any detrimental effects, only positives. It really works wonders on repelling both water and dirt and saves me a crapload of time I'd otherwise have to spend on...

Bespoke suit - how to make it better?

Dreadful, just absolutely dreadful. I may never have seen a worse suit on pictures or in real life, except as a joke. I really, really hope this is a troll post and that the OP has not parted with actual, real money for that abomination.

A bit late to the party with this question, but I wonder if you might be planning to carry the Siegol brand? Like you I have exactly zero interest in sponsoring the thieving bastard who nicked the Brand brand name, but sadly Siegol is hard to come by when you're outside the EU. Or rather, the...

Paul Sargent (formerly Alfred Sargent) Appreciation Thread

I've been aware of that since day one, but I was wondering if by chance anybody knew of Handgrades available from somewhere in the known universe?

Paul Sargent (formerly Alfred Sargent) Appreciation Thread

Can any Handgrade models at all other than the Herrick actually be found somewhere, or are the pictures of their Handgrade line purely theoretical?

    Allen Edmonds Independence Collection

I certainly wouldn't in my wildest fantasies consider paying $500+ for any pair of shoes from Allen Edmonds. At half their current prices their standard lines would be decent value for money, but for the prices they actually charge one can hardly make a worse choice in terms of bang for the buck.

    Welted boot stitching wear

This has happened to my own shoes and boots numerable times as the soles wear down. The Dainite is held on by stitching and glue, so there's no need for concern. Also, most of my footwear with welted Dainite soles do not have channelled stitching, including pairs from C&J, Trickers, Cheaney...

Taking one sport coat to Europe in autumn

It will depend on what you're used to (and I know nada about the climate in Boston), but here in Norway I usually wear Harris Tweed with a flannel or oxford shirt beneath from October through December. On particularly cold days I add an undershirt. The weather does indeed tend to turn colder...

    Indecisive

I'd definitely go with option 2 and the paisley square. Have a great day!

    Tailors in the Middle East

It may not seem like an obvious choice, but there used to be, and apparently still are, a number of good tailors in Beirut. I found this article with a few details and there's also Raffi Sarkis, which I know is highly thought of (and that's all I know). My own personal experience is long out...

    Which Overcoat do you prefer

Those aren't overcoats, just long jackets. Ultra-slim lapels, nearly non-existent collars, all fashion, zero style, both really quite awful.

    Asshole Blogger

The four-in-hand "objectively aesthetically superior"? Huh? Well, maybe if you have a really bad squint. Personally I've always thought of the four-in-hand as a knot for people who can't or won't bother to learn how to tie a real knot.

    LOAKE APPRECIATION THREAD

I would try insoles for the heels only, as you presumably have very low-set ankles. It likely won't take more than a few millimeters to solve the problem, so start with thin insoles and work your way up in thickness if necessary.

    Official: Suit with no tie

I'm entirely with Andy57. Suit and no tie is just fine if the suit and shirt are both suited (sorry) to the purpose. The combinations pictured simply look bad (picture 2 I find entirely inoffensive, but then it doesn't contain a suit) and the last picture in particular is awful. The contrast...

    LOAKE APPRECIATION THREAD

I'd go with insoles in the correct size and the right thickness.

Which brown shoes? A or B? Will reveal maker later

I've not studied the fine detail, but the toes in pic A is certainly far more shapely and elegant.
