shoes to wear with jeans?
Desert boots seem to be popular here but I would never wear them personally. Like junior varsity above, I err towards the dressy side even in jeans. If it was with a polo or short sleeved shirt then loafers or deck shoes, with a shirt and/or knitwear, brogues or a derby or similar. I have a nice...- Vidal_Balloon

Agreed that the Canadian tit bars are top notch. Anything goes. Another thought is that you could get one of those mirrors on a telescopic pole that the special forces use for shooting baddies around corners. The cellphone posts got me thinking, and I don't know if this has been mentioned yet but you could switch on your bluetooth when you're in the trap next to a suspected culprit and see if they show up near you. They may even have used they're own name....... Worth a bash?- Vidal_Balloon

Wearing shoes sockless ... how to skip blisters?
I've got the same shoes and had exactly the same problem. Where they crease at the front when I walk digs into my little toe (esp the left one) and almost amputated it. I will say percivere though because after another couple of wears they'll be fine. You can even cheat and use plasters.- Vidal_Balloon

SF approved driving shoes
I have a pair of YSL Rive Gauche from about 3 years ago which are very nice, but the toe is badly scuffed from walking around in them so I never wear them any more. I'll have to look into getting them repaired. I also have a nice white dsquared2 pair which I rarely find the occasion to wear now...- Vidal_Balloon
