    Thanks to this forum (and eBay) I've...

    Gotten rid of most of my gaudy, tacky, ostentatious goods. I do, however, have a lot of learning to do, and progress to make on my journey to TRUE style. My mindset has, indeed, shifted from those ugly commercial luxury goods, and I feel good. Thank you.
