As I remember I paid half price for the Edwin/MH jeans - I wore them regularly for around a year and then decided to let them go. They were fine but I didn't love them - probably because the denim was a bit bland. Good question. I wore ROY for many years (while he was still making jeans) and...

I don't remember, did try and look them up on archive.org but couldn't find anything, but the name could have been military related. Canton Jeans: quality of the denim, the way the jeans are cut and finished, the way the front pockets are sewn through, the oversized back pockets. And the same...

Here are the shorts. I sized up to an X - they measure 18.25" flat so basically a 36 in a size X. They use an unusual hook for the closure. I don't remember the style name but I've included the swing tag which shows the style code.

I have not seen them in person. I note that they are made by Canton and I'm not a fan of the Canton jeans - they just happened to be the closest thing to the Indigo Twill shorts I picked up. I will take some photos of the shorts and post them up later - they may have some at Margaret St. They...

I was after a pair of these in Navy and eventually tried a pair on at the Sale Store last year and was hugely disappointed - they just didn't work for me. I ended up picking up some MHL indigo twill shorts from SS23 collection which I was happier with. MHL subsequently released some denim shorts...

I went to the preview this week. Yes they are getting progressively worse. There is less stock and less quality stock. There's a combination of reasons; I see better quality pieces tending to sell out at full retail – there are now two Sale Stores in the the UK so more stuff doesn't get to the...

Official Sales Alert thread - sales, coupon and discount codes

They're in Administration and during this period they're still trading as normal and you should be able to get a refund as long as the goods are returned. You have a tracking number so I don't see getting a refund being a problem. Bear in mind they've laid half their staff off so refunds may...

On Trickers £75 for shoe trees and £90 for boot trees? Where are you looking at them? Probably old/new stock pricing.

zippyh's advice is probably the best solution - look for any style on the 4444 Last in a UK size 11 - it should fit like a UK 11.5 which is the same as a US 12.5. A 6 (wide) fit - I doubt that will make enough difference. I wear both 5 and 6 fits in 4497s in the same shoe style and I don't size...

Those aren’t really better styles, they’re different styles that you prefer. I don’t mind the Tramping but the Dean is a cap-toe, cap-toe can look great on an Oxford but I'd prefer a plain toe on a boot. We can agree to disagree. I’ll pass on the split-toe. My ideal boot would be a whole-cut...

So you would prefer they were made up on a Stow or Gregory toe-cap and the leather be spoiled by brogueing? You don't need to add bells and whistles when you have a rich canvas to work with. I don't like the high prices either but these are only £10 more the rest of their retail line so not...

If you paid full retail send them back. Saying that just about every pair of Tricker's I've received has had some form of imperfection. Their QC is pretty terrible, especially when you consider the prices. I guess it depends on what you're prepared to tolerate.

I think your first port of call is to contact Tricker's Customer Service, especially if you paid full retail. Is it possible they've sent you samples because it sure looks like it. You have two options: Tricker's offer you a significant discount (I wouldn't hold your breath) or return for refund...
