    So...you don't think brown shoes go with any suit? Good luck finding anybody to agree with that on here. Have you seen the shoe Appreciation thread? Brown goes well with brown or tan suits only I think. Medium blue suits are borderline in my opinion.

    Seems odd to have brown shoes and gray suit, even if it is a light shade. I just don't get how you match a color that, if darkened, hits black. Brown, however is in the yellow to reddish range. Also, it looks weird to see gray and brown....it really bothers me. But black shoes and a gray suit...

    My Armani and Dior are wool. Question is, should there be no smell at all? When you smell your wool suits, is there a smell or is it competely neutral? Granted, wool is organic.

    Ok, I see, but your experience seems outdated and they have been in business a long time. In any case, WW Chan's tour seems to have the same idea: measured, sent to HK, then can tweak. You can get a basted fitting and all, but it would take half a year. Yet WW Chan is lauded.

    Might want to try Bermini which won Citysearch award for best custom tailor in 2006. But they seem to be having some disgruntled customers recently due to service delays. Also, try La Rukico in Manhattan.

    If you wanted a blaze or sportcoat, which would you prefer: Bespoke Zegna MTM Oxxford MTM Hickey-Freeman MTM Just consider the time factor of bespoke vs. getting a good fashion forward Zegna for instance....I leave out the obvious, Brioni and Kiton for obvious price reasons.
