Fair enough. To be honest, I can't find any information about their denim anywhere. I don't know much about denim but I do know that these are more comfortable than what I currently own. Just thought I would take a stab at it. In terms of the cut, they are like the Levis 511. Thanks...

Super old thread but I had a Vince question but didn't think it merited a new thread. I really like the sweaters and I have a few. I bought a pair of jeans a while back and never really wore them. I just started wearing them and I find them really comfortable. They did fit a bit small but it...

    custom pillow business

I mean no disrespect but it seem like your business model is lacking something about custom. Generally I would associate "custom" with "custom made for me" and expensive. Generally to justify the expensive part, I would need to receive great customer service and an experience. If your product...

Starting Your Own Business - Inspiration/Turning Or Breaking Point

Personally, I think in the real world, there are many misconceptions. Do what you love: Sure, but within reason. I make money doing things that I'm not necessarily passionate for, but it gets the bills paid and it allows me to afford the things I want to do. Some people say they will take a...

Ordering from China and changing the Brand and label...Legal???

Why not just leave their tags on and make your "brand" an online store. Instead of pretending that they are your designs, make it an online store with "your fine selection of clothing that has been made in China". You can have a themed online store. Are you really going to make enough...

    Ask me about Eyewear!

Funny you say that. I was looking at a Lemtosh yesterday. The bridge is a 24mm but it fits like one that is much more narrow because the plastic is quite thick. The bridge size is measured from lens to lens, NOT the gap between the plastic. With that in mind, the bridge actually fits...

    Ask me about Eyewear!

O&X is a division of Kio Yamato. Eco by Modo will not have all their frames on their website. Try looking finding a stockist. For the price of Dita and Salt you could very well go with most well made frames.

What kind of knives, pans and other kitchen stuff do I need for uni

I would say to just get something that is decent and cheap (within reason. Not dollar store junk). Chances are once you move out on your own if you still like cooking you'll want to get better knives and pots and pans. Just get something that will last you through Uni and then toss them or...

Account executive. Fancy word for sales rep. I'm also a landlord on the side.

How much should I tip my maid?

Rare. I find that I have to keep on switching them up. We have had many in the family and we end up using new ones all the time because they start to slack or they become too friendly with us and expect something more.

How much should I tip my maid?

I say don't tip her. We use to tip our cleaning lady, for a $60 service we paid her $70. She then raised the price on us, which she wanted $80. Needless to say, on a matter of principle we booted her and got someone else. On another note, in my town, it doesn't matter if they are illegals or...

    Tea Appreciation

If you have ethnic friends, you should try to see if they can get you teas from back home. I have tried a lot of different kinds from asia and they are quite interesting. It's exciting to get a tea from a small producer from a country you know very little about. Personally, I like the story...

What should a man have in his wallet?

yea, I used to carry a bunch of unnecessary cards. Now I carry a card holder with a few cards that I use regularly and then I have a separate wallet that I will take with me if I have other cards or whatnot in it that I think I may need.

How much did you pay for your wife's/fiancee's engagement ring?

I paid 6k for a 1.something carat diamond in a platinum ring. Personally, I think diamonds are overrated but I still bought it because she liked it. My wedding band is tungsten (great on the pocket book) while her's is a platinum ring with small diamonds going all the way around it (2.2k)...

Cheap and low maintenance car that isn't a P.O.S?

If you want something that will last a long time, Toyota Corolla or Toyota Camry. I have a bunch of friends who have had both and they never had problems with them and if you pick up a used one they can be very economical.

    Something more comfortable than Chucks?

I'm from Canada, I haven't seen them in stores, or if they are even available in stores. Must be worth finding though.

    CouchSurfing

My friend uses it religiously. He really enjoys the company of others from other countries. He tells me stories of meeting new people, giving tours, getting tours, meeting locals. Personally, I enjoy staying in the privacy of our own hotel room.

    Ask me about Eyewear!

I like the style. The size works and the style is conservative. In the dark tortoise, a brown lens would look good.
