A Sam (and David) Hober Tie Appreciation Thread

For what it is worth, I had a club tie from them cut the opposite (British) way. It wasn't a problem (as described in point 7 at this website http://www.samhober.com/a/customties/).

What do you all think of Hemrajani?

Re: my suits and gorge height For my first visit with Joe I wore my best fitting suit - a late 90s Oxxford suit with the gorge at about the same place, and he took pictures that he sent to his shop. Also, I'm 6' 4" and didn't ask for the gorge to be higher. So I suggest the suits reflect my...

Turnbull and Asser NYC Bespoke Opinions?

OK, a few more details 1) Collar - this is my T&A linen shirt, in case the tag is confusing. The 9376 stamped on the tag is, I think, a batch number. 2) Collar button close-up 3) Pattern matching of all those stripes at the placket

Turnbull and Asser NYC Bespoke Opinions?

Thanks for the information. Here are some pictures of another distinctive feature of T&A shirts (or so I was told at the time) - the cuffs. First, the (in)famous James Bond cuff (aka cocktail or fast cuff) , with some nice rounded corners. And next, the double cuff. Like the cocktail cuff it...

Turnbull and Asser NYC Bespoke Opinions?

Hopefully this captures the underside of the stitch. If it is the double needle chain stitch, how would a typical MTM shirt maker react to a customer request for the same type of side seam stitch?

Turnbull and Asser NYC Bespoke Opinions?

Shirtmaven: Is this the side seam stitch to which you are referring? OP: I bought some MTM T&A shirts in the 99/00 years from the London shop. Not versatile, especially if you opt for James Bond cuffs (aka cocktail cuffs or fast cuffs). But I still have them and I still wear them.

    Introduce yourself.

Hello. I seem to get interested in improving my wardrobe about every dozen or so years. I'm currently in one of those periods, at least for now. I'll try to contribute when I can to a few threads over at the Classic Menswear side, though what I know is pretty spotty. I might start a thread about...
