Not what you had asked for, but… For a navy chore coat, I’d also consider the wool or linen version. Both are imho worth the extra price versus the canvas and twill. I have a bunch of William Lockie roll necks, which I wear all the time. I wash them after say 6 wears, 10 at most. Just in my Siemens front loader, wool program 30 degrees Celsius, and laid flat to dry.- wahnamhong

The fit of this jacket is meant to be short. I am a regular size 42 and mine fits good, that is it fits slouchy, but even if I wear it over a blazer, the jacket will usually be a few centimeters shorter than the blazer. I don’t really mind. Looks fine to me. Not every item needs to fit perfectly fine. Imho it’s nice to have a mix of slouchy and normal fitting items. I got the boucle fleece from the archivesale, size xl. As for denim, I have bought Orslow (at fransboone) and while I like them (107 especially), I mostly wear Oni Denim bought from Denimio.com.
