It’s definitely WAY more expensive for Australia :/ And where are the scout scarves already?!

The What Are You Wearing Today (WAYWT) Discussion Thread, Part II

Bro, bruv, bro how can you possibly even begin to call Meatys fit “toddler” silhouette when you just posted a fit with too big pants and too small tshirt?! That is exactly what kids wear. You’ve just given you’re own fit the perfect description.

Yes you’re right that balancing a loose/fitted things can be good, but this isn’t. The shirt is too small for this. At the end of the day you’re wearing an ill fitting white tee and some grey sweats. There’s nothing interesting about any of it and it’s not flattering, and it’s not cool, so...

Random Fashion Thoughts (Part 3: Style farmer strikes back) - our general discussion thread

They’ve found their market and they cater to that market. The longevity of places like Neighbour and CHCM and NMWA speaks to that. None of these places are taking in cash, because that’s not what retail is, but they have built their store, brandlist, image and offerings around what they wanted...

It's pretty standard sizing. I usually find mainline to be more normally sized than MHL is but I also think these fit bigger than the measurement might look because they are worn above the hips.

With the waist aligned and pulled tight it measures 17.5”

True, but it’s not helpful feedback.

The What Are You Wearing Today (WAYWT) Discussion Thread, Part II

Is the intent of the jacket to be tiny? I looks terrible, i don't think the type of shirt you're wearing underneath it is going to make any difference. But I also get the sense it's supposed to be tiny and shrunken and if that's the case I have no feedback because it's not something I'm every...

No. They were bought back by an Australian company and are still made in Adelaide (the boots and most leather accessories, not the clothes). RM Ws rule.

What happens if I post fits? We obviously have very different views on what looks good so I can’t imagine you seeing anything and thinking “oh ok he knows what he’s talking about” regardless of who it is. I have posted them on other threads, but not here. Mostly because I am not looking for...

I took my usual L and the fit is good. I have only tried them on at this point but winter is over and tomorrow is supposed to be 25C so I’ll probably wear them then. The colour is very deep brown with a grey caste, the linen is nice and tightly woven and crisp

I’ve posted plenty of fits here in the past, they aren’t hard to find, I just don’t post on SF often anymore. By “dated” I mean - baggy tee and skinny jeans feels very 2015. Yes you’re right it’s had its ebbs and flows and it exists in some sense all the time. But for nerds that are into...

It looks bad and unflattering and dated. For all the same reasons as the last time. If you are happy and enjoying it, then just say that and leave it alone but you do keep kind of posting with this guise of looking for feedback and i don't think you really care / want any feedback.

The fact you think these 3 fits are in any way comparable is insane. Not even in terms of “quality” or “coolness” or whatever, but shape, silhouette, execution, context etc

Jacques Marie Mage - Wolves, Obnoxious Acetate and The American Dream

This whole "racing" vibe that JMM has been on lately hasn't resulted in anything good. I've been wanting a new pair after selling my Belize but there's just not been anything that interesting in over a year.

Oh and if anybody knows somewhere with the dusty pink half placket shirt in size X could you please let me know? I only ever saw it on CHCM and the webshop and missed both places.

I finally ordered the compact linen wide leg shorts. I had been waiting for the scout scarves to arrive so I could grab a couple at the same time but then they started pulling all the sale items
