    My issue with the Leclair is the wide bridge. On your face it seems to make the frame lay lower and cause your eyes to not be well centered. Notice the difference between where the top of the frame sits as compared to the other two.

    Unfortunately, the only authorized dealer within 50 or so miles from me is is not very hospitable, so I don't get a lot of opportunities to try frames on.

    Agree. The only way to know for sure is to try them on. Going solely by numbers, a similarly sized JMM frame is the Devaux.

    Narrower face here. For me, te styling hits the sweet spot between bold and optical friendly frame. But the width of the bridge (26) concerns me. Seems too wide relative to the other dimensions. It looks wide in the photos as well.

    I'd rather not at the moment, given that it's an ongoing matter. I would just recommend sticking with established sellers/authorized dealers and always use a credit card so you have some protection.

    Just a word of caution as there is at least one online optical store that appears fairly legit (with associated facebook and instagram pages) selling fakes (and very poor ones to they eye of anyone who knows anything about JMM).     Hmm, I'm gonna hold out hope they're Vendome. I believe the Jax has a funky keyhole like feature in the bridge/nose area.

    Great choice! Is the lower/second frame the plaza? The top one looks like a less muscular version of the Fellini. Nice to see more optical-friendly frames.

    Yes, and the temples differ. Fellini is wider on the face side and tapers. I think ichikawa looks best on more angular faces.
