Luxire Custom Clothing - Official Affiliate Thread

This makes me feel exited and scared at the same time. I know the fabric will come out good but the design I submitted may or may not be a good fit for the fabric... Basically I wanted some Asian flare so I opted for a mandarin collar and knot closures. Fingers crossed.

I added about 1-1.5 inches to my shirt measurements and my quilted jacket turned out to be a bit tight but still wearable, granted my Luxire shirts also fit me quite close. For peacoat, I'd try out some ready-made and compare the measurements with my shirts and go from there. I think Luxire...

I think this is mine :) Highly recommended. Both the construction and material are very good. It's nice to wear when it's about ~32-40 F outside. It doesn't completely block all the wind so I would put in an extra layer for windy days. The sleeves on mine come a bit short but it's because I...

My recent order was placed on May 16th and got delivered today. 2 weeks for a shirt is acceptable but I wouldn't want to wait longer than that.

My collar button popped out today. I've had this shirt since November last year and this is my first shirt from Luxire. I mainly wear it with my suit so I always buttons up the collar and wear a tie. My other Luxire shirts are doing fine but I don't use the collar buttons on those. I think the...

My first shirt from Luxire as well. The fabric definitely feels heavier and nicer than most of the RTW shirts I had before. It's used to be $59 btw. Not sure if an unline collar is appropriate for this type of fabric though. What kind of collar did you order?

Ouch, I thought about sending in my previous shirts after I've gotten the fit right. But $20/shirt, at this price point, is not very worth it. Still, I think their policy is rather fair and they already offer good products at reasonable prices. This is just the nature of online MTM atm, you need...

Like some of the people in this thread, I've only started to work on my wardrobe recently. I mostly wore RTW clothing before. The fit was always too big since I am slim guy. So this probably makes me a bit too excited when doing MTM. Your point is very valid and I'll keep that in mind. I found...

Thank you! I made the cuffs 0.5" bigger. I did mention in the note that I liked how the sleeves look on my previous shirt but it seems like the bigger cuffs still make the sleeves balloon out. Or maybe I should just stick with the smaller cuffs after all.

Here's my newest shirt. Fabric is candy stripes oxford. It is a bit crisp and wrinkles slightly more than my previous blue oxford. But it is still nice to the touch. Comment on the fit would be appreciated. I think the extra fabric on the back was fixed compared to the previous blue oxford shirt.

It's accurate for my first 3 orders. My latest order was a date late. It was estimated to arrive on Thursday but then the website suddenly changed the estimate to "n/a" until it get to my door on Friday. Still not too bad!

My order was on Feb 17 and was shipped 2 days ago. Not quite a month but I guess I have too much expectation for how quick the orders are fulfilled based on my first 2 shirts. Eagerly await for it to arrive though!

I would be interested in polo shirts as well. Anyway, finally got my 4th order shipped. Hope I nailed down my measurements for sure this time. Kinda funny that I got a much faster reply by PMing Luxire in the forum instead of emailing. Is it 1 fabric per swatch?

How much does Luxire charge for the swatches? I remembered they linked to a page where an extra $1 service or more can be added but didn't really say how many swatches that would be.

I would try pinching on one shoulder until it seems right. Remember to double the amount because you're reducing both shoulders. So if you need 1" less on one side, put in 2" less for the entire yoke. How's the neck fit for that shirt? Even without buttoning the collar, it looks like you have a...

Sorry! I was just too eager to get some feedback. Will wash and iron my shirt next time. Shouldn't the cuffs fall about an inch more when buttoned? That's why I thought they are too small. Though I can still put two fingers in between the space of the cuffs. Thanks a lot for the article link! I...

Neat! Anyway, I took some pics of me wearing my new shirt from Luxire. My 3rd attempt and I am still playing around with the measurements a bit here and there. If anyone can give suggestion on how to improve the fit, that would be appreciated. For this shirt, I think the cuffs are about an...
