Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

Mistyped and it posted! I meant to say, it is hard to see what the final product will be after your design. It was a gamble, but Carmina did really well with it. Better than I had hoped. It also took almost 4 months for me to get them. I think it was because of the exotic croc leather.

Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

I've got balmorals in carmina, cheaney, and C&J in my comparatively small collection for this forum. The Carminas that I have are hard to break in as the leather seems stiffer. It may take a couple months of wear to feel comfortable. It's on a Simpson last 1/2 size up. The Rain last which...

Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

Inspired by many of the beautiful MTO boots on this forum, I tried my hand customizing a pair of Carminas. Half crocodile and half museum calf balmoral on a Simpson last with blue lining and thread. I was really nervous about the design as I didn't go full croc! But when they came in I was...

@martin92 you may also want to try a different type of leather. Suede and kudo leather is so much more softer and forgiving than chromexcel which is stiffer and harder to break in than just about anything with exception to shell cordovan. You can try the pebble grain with C&J also as it's...

Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

Thank-you. The burgundy is my only color for the balmoral imperial line. They fit well and are soft and comfortable. The calf leather is very nice and I wouldn't hesitate buying another in the line (maybe chestnut and suede) 😀 I ordered a standard UK 8 size, but had to order quick as that size...

Grant Stone ostrich skin boots. I've always been interested in ostrich, so I decided to take a chance and went ahead and purchased these. The boots are very soft and very comfortable. Softer than even worn in kudo leather. They are very bold looking boots but well made. I like them!

I wouldn't let that bother you. As long as the creasing doesn't pinch your toes(rt foot), you should just enjoy and wear them. They are nice boots 👍

Ok, I'll bite 😁 Found these whiskey Harlechs in my size over the holidays at the NYC Madison shop while shopping for black oxfords (picked those up as well) I couldn't help but buy them...It was too tempting.

    Shoes for autumn/winter

I picked up these CJ Grasmere from Division Road in the US. It was a collaboration so they don't stock them anymore, but they've probably have what you're looking for if you check their website.
