    I have the following in 40R slim: Green Donegal VBC brown check flannel MTO (marked contemp but fits like a slim IMO) Houndstooth tweed They are all pretty much NWT but with bastings removed PM if interested!

    Agreed. I tried the high rise in contemporary and it was much too tight in the calf and ankles. The seat of the jeans (I found, at least) quite odd and saggy. I found the stretch fabric to be much more comfortable than the 100% cotton ones and were nice and soft. I hope they make some...

    I'm about the same build as you and I go for the large. I fit into the medium but it's quite tight and a wash made it unwearable.

    The measurements of the large for the long sleeve polos are just slightly bigger than the 15.5 contemp shirts -- the first wash may shrink them enough to get them the same size -- just something to think about.

    Odd jackets IMO look better a bit shorter because of the sharp contrast in colour. It also lengthens the legs a bit. I think 40R is the way to go.
