Mrs got a belt - have to say it's v well made and nice quality. (Didn't have her size so had to get back to factory). They use the same leather. That's said I think their shoe trees are a tad too expensive even if they fit much better.

Offical TRICKERS shoes and boots thread

I was just going to post on this ...but only relatively limited styles on there ...mainly shoes ....and some 'funky' boots (like the weird coloured ones that came up recently). I am sure they used to have almost everything on before. 67 men's at least ..19 for women. anyway good selection of...

    Cheaney

What do peeps make of Cheaney x Brompton x Bremont ? Not the most ambitious shoe but perhaps more suited to cycling ....still there might have been other styles (more sleek or maybe even a trainer style).

When I have called up the factory it seems like the back office is quite a small operation. Worth sending in feedback on that - might not have occured to them.

379 is a more shaped shoe that works well for higher inset. It just didnt provide enough arch support for my flatish feet (on Connaught) 376 are basically loafers! Hadn't clocked that but Harvard's etc. Not sure that helps in high arch. Would look at Crawford's or even cadoogan

    Cheaney

Kintyre derbys .. Finally a day in London I can take them out (forgot to take a pict whilst out and looking at the sky not sure when I will again - true British summer!! 🤣😆😭😭 Comfy...although not convinced about flex soles yet.

only tried the connaught on 379 - and recall it being quite nicely shaped / even with good arch support. The toe box is only ever slight narrowed. 367 is much better for me - especially in the heel (Albany) and the Kew fits really neatly compared with the moltons which is on 336 last.

Advise of yours: Double-Buckle Boot (C&J Chamberley), Three-Buckle Boot (SL Tobar) or a classic Jodphur Boot?

v nice but they are not exactly chukkas. if you wanted something more casual or easier to put on I might suggest Moltons (I love my roughout suede) or Kew ..or even Kempton in Snuff suede if you can find it. I suspect you have already made your choice - what did you end up getting ? do share a...

    Crockett & Jones MTO Central

pretty sure it was the same stuff ... in fact in the NYC store (bigger one near 5th Ave) they had different stuff Jermyn st didn't see (more like packaging and how they put things together), when I asked them about it later

Great looking pair that. Unlined toebox looks like good move to keep it comfortable. Looks like the Snuff Unley has a bit more stock. Did you get that intel from inside the store?

What's the sole on those? The Flexi thingy or city rubber. They do look lovely.

** Quintessential Crockett & Jones Thread ** (reviews, quality, etc...)

Yeah I almost never wear leather in rain unless it's unexpected or light on an otherwise warm day. Don't have any city rubber or equivalents which would be my next move if I changed sole. It's boots or shoes with dainites (have a cheaney pair, moltons all year classic and a Loake brogue). Not...

yeah me too ...but perhaps making sure they add the bellowed tongues as it is really annoying otherwise ....also not as waterproof in the intense downpour!
