Nose Hair Trimmers: Yay or Nay?

Well, I still notice, but I agree that it's the only way. I tried cutting them, and I cactused the inside of my nawstreels so bad I got nosebleeds. The total discomfort of plucking is far less, and it lasts a lot longer, too. Aloha, Poinz

    The Dollar Shave Club

I'm glad to see this coming around to a discussion of online shave vendors rather than a DE rant-up. There seem to be three of them that I can find: Dollar Shave Club Harry's Shaving Products ShaveMOB Can I get a read on any / all of these, or a comparative? I've used Good Newseses forever...

What is This Gentleman Wearing About his Neck?

Thank you. Now I can go get one and learn to tie it under my Hampton's Jacket, though I have no idea which end of a horse goes forward. Aloha, p

What is This Gentleman Wearing About his Neck?

I can't believe this would stump you guys. Is it just far too stupid a question? p

What is This Gentleman Wearing About his Neck?

This is a character in the movie of John Le Carre's 'Smiley's People', filmed in about 1980, and I think set sometime between 1960 and then: Ascot? In shirt material? Something else? I like it. Thankew, Poinz

    Poor man's watch thread

Seiko SNK805 is awesome. I have the 809, which is black. Accurate mech movement, reasonable size, display back.

suede shoes - post 'em here!

I live in the tropics, where it's always (by most gents' definition) summer, and that's style.

    1'' Dress belt under $100 ?

Look in the womens' departments. A lot of it will be 'pink', but there are some treasures there, especially if you are a smaller waist size (as the width constraint would indicate).

    Recent non-Sartorialist Looks

In a way, Flusser and Schuman remind me a lot of each other. If you listen to what they say, read what they write, look at the product, they are insightful guys who have a soulful outlook on what they're doing. But then you look at them. Ehrmahgerd.

    Poor man's watch thread

Y'know, 99.9% of people will never see that, or make any distinction. It's a steampunk case, especially with the faux screws in the lugs, so we may make of that what we may. To me, the roman 186 is a fairly dressy piece; not because of the crown, but the roman dial and the guilloche face...

How long does it take to shorten suit jacket sleeves?

I have shortened the sleeves on every jacket I own. They are always too long. Anybody can do this in fifteen (or thirty) minutes, I will, with witnesses, kiss his ass.

    Poor man's watch thread

I like the roman 186 with the guilloche dial as well. OP, I have a 182SK skeleton which is in the same case. I have a 6½" wrist, and it looks fine. Awesome, in fact.

Small Guys and Sport Coats...and Blazers

I'm trying to decide if this is a troll. As savants above have said, these measurements don't go together. I'm 5'5", 135lb, and wear, depending on brand and such, a 34s or 35s. Shoulders, ~16"-17" Sleeve, 22" or so Length (bottom of collar), 28½" or so Waist, 30" Inseam about 27½" Given the...
