  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

The store manager in Cambridge is the only one who really saw what I was saying quickly, can’t fault him, Neil I think his name was, it’s the retail manger that’s at the factory that’s not really impressed me so far, was just a bit too argumentative for my liking. We will see if they say they...

Anyone else bought Cheaney shoes lately?

Too bloody right, it’s just frowned upon in the department where I work, it’s a small department with a long history, one of which is black shoes are only worn, we have a reputation to maintain.

I spoke to the Cheaney retail manager today, wasn’t impressed with his attitude really, he wanted to argue the toss over what was wrong with the first pair, I said the shoe squeaked when walking and you could feel it under the ball of the foot, I thought it was a loose shank maybe. Either way...

Anyone else bought Cheaney shoes lately?

I agree but I only work two days a week in the office where I have to wear them with uniform and sit at a desk all day. I put shoe trees in them after every use. I prefer brown shoes so have just got these due to the uniform and not because I like black shoes, hence just having one pair. I...

Anyone else bought Cheaney shoes lately?

Thanks for the feedback, yes there is definitely something not quite right with the alignment, they were as parallel as I could get them. I’m enjoying this new pair not squeaking and think I would rather put up with this anomaly than have that again.

So it’s normal for toe boxes on Cheaney shoes not to be straight? Or the same angle between the left and right shoe? Not being funny, honest question.

This is my first post, so hello everyone. Wondering if you could cast your eye over these shoes. I’m having issues with quality lately. I've bought a fair few pairs and I have always been very happy with them, I liked buying British and felt the quality reflected the price. I feel like there...

Anyone else bought Cheaney shoes lately?

How do you suggest properly aligning the shoe? Not being funny I just couldn’t think of a better way to do it as the toes are parallel this way.

Apologies, I’m new to the forum and wasn’t aware there were individual threads for brands. I will relocate the post.
