  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

    John Lobb Shoe Trees

Yeah, I'm not a cobbler and I'm sure I wouldn't notice it much. But it just seems odd to me that EG and JLs cost top dollar for RTW but they don't have any lasted shoe trees. It feels like they're cheaping out on the details.

Shawl collar - William lockie vs RLPL or another?

I’m looking for a heavy shawl collar sweater for casual attire. I’ve had a cotton light one from Brooks Brothers in large which fit me well, and a Zegna 100% cashmere which is a bit loose but passable. I recently bought a William Lockie wool shawl in large and it was way too baggy - long arms...

The Unofficial Spier & Mackay B-S-T Thread

So how are the shawl collar sweaters? Are you satisfied enough that you don't think you want to ever spend 2x-5x for a more premium version w/ cashmere, etc? Are they really chunky? How is the fabric? Is it comparable to 4-ply knits from other? What size would you recommend for a silhouette like...

    Shoes that suddenly don't fit?

I've been wearing the same size for dress shoes for 10+ years and all of a sudden in the past 2 weeks, my shoes no longer fit on one foot, but fine on the other. My foot's hurting like hell each time I wear dress shoes and it's tight everywhere -- instep, toes, etc. Has this ever happened to any...

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

From this thread, I'm learning that the body type really matters a lot for leather jackets. I feel like he'd look better with biker jackets, because he looks relatively thin. Someone who is broader and has more muscle mass might look okay with that type of a jacket.
