  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

Are more expensive panama hats more durable?

Stopped by Lock and Co this weekend to look at their panama hats. They have two quality levels — $500 and $1500 (roughly). Obviously the more expensive was much finer, but that may or may not be a good thing. Are finer panama weaves more or less durable?

Another button question because I’m ridiculous. About to order a traditional blue white seersucker. Seen a lot of these with white MOP buttons. Which do we all like better, white MOP or white horn? I feel like MOP can be a bit much.
