  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

    Custom White's Boots ... Thoughts?

That's the relatively new 5050 last. And yeah it's gonna be a brick just like any White's boot. Me personally, I'd like the reverse -- a 55 toe and an MP heel! Call it the 0505 last.

    Custom White's Boots ... Thoughts?

If you have a 55 size you like, you should probably take that size and go up a width for the MP. That's the general advice and based on my own experience seems to work.

Proper Cloth - Official Affiliate Thread

I agree he's asking for $300+ bespoke level of service from a $150 MTM shirtmaker, but just as a point of order, Proper Cloth tells you repeatedly to measure your best fitting shirts. Their how-to guides are about measuring shirts, not your body.

Hello dear friends! Curious about the Newman/2014 last loafer sizing. I Brannock 12D, I wear an 11.5D Alden Van loafer without socks (good fit), and a 12 Alden Barrie/Trubalance (loose in most foot, but need for toe space). I was never able to get an acceptable fit in the AE 65 last because I...

Proper Cloth - Official Affiliate Thread

I've had the opposite experience. My suits and sport coats have been great, but my casual shirts (madras, linen, chambrays) were plagued by such shrinkage issues that I haven't ordered in awhile (though I know they revamped their shrinking approach last year). FWIW, I haven't had shrinkage...

** Quintessential Crockett & Jones Thread ** (reviews, quality, etc...)

Hi friends! I'm interested in a pair of Ralph Lauren x Crockett & Jones I found on the internet. Anyhow know how the US sizing compares to, say, Alden? If I'm a 12D Barrie, would I want the same in C&J US sizing?

Oooo I missed this opening up! Glad to catch the last day. Will we have a chance to order the woodland and jungle camo in the rivet shape out of LA?

To be clear, it’s not layaway. You pay for it up front. It’s something you do when you want to reserve a fabric while still working out fitting and sizing details with customer service. They recommend it to you in certain contexts. And they put an expiration date on the hold, so there is already...

RANCOURT & Co. Shoes - Made in Maine

yeah, there’s justifiably a big difference between an individual MTO at retail and a batch MTO at wholesale.

Right. This kind of thing can become a death spiral.

It could just be disorganization, but these stories back-to-back with radio silence and the wholesale could indicate cash flow problems.

I think most Epaulet MTO pants come with an unfinished 36" hem. Per your suggestion, wash and dry (hang dry is always better) tailoring.

Oh no! I didn’t know the rivet order was closing now. I had a couple pairs in my cart with an outstanding question. I gotta have em! Can I put in order?
