Suit advice for a med student.

When you become a doctor, go for a tie-less look. Ties kill people in the hospital and doctors who wear them are being irresponsible. I wouldn't do that. When we do rounds now, I'm just in a shirt and trousers if I'm not in scrubs. maybe he just watched Love and other drugs... he wants to wear...

Suit advice for a med student.

Why do you need a suit as a med student (for anything other than graduation or job interviews)? Mates of mine who are working as doctors tell me that no one under the level of a consultant would ever wear a suit on the job for fear of outdressing their boss given that most doctors (even senior...

Suit advice for a med student.

Ah, thanks. Do you have any idea how slim TM Lewin suits fit? I know not to expect miracles out of a RTW suit, but having a nice slim fit that even approaches anything like http://www.kinowear.com/images/9257.jpg would be great.

Blue label? All I got from google is Ralph blue label for women. Or do you mean T M Lewin's blue label or something?

Thanks for the reply. I'd probably prescribe to the one suit school of thought as in don't really need a collection of suits at this point in time.

Suit advice for a med student.

Tried the quick q. thread, but figured a thread wouldn't hurt. I'm a med student. I'm quite athletic, played rugby and still row for university. Need a new suit since I haven't gotten one since my last interview and I've grown out of that. I'm based in the UK so popping to London is quite easy...

Ask A Question, Get An Answer... - Post All Quick Questions Here (Classic menswear)

Need to get a new suit. I'm a 22 year old med student. Only going for RTW since anything more I don't think anything more is really necessary for someone of my age and status. Just need a few suggestions for places to get a suit from in the UK. I can easily pop down to London whenever. Anybody...

lul It's also pretty funny that you've been taking the time out of your day to get pics, photoshop them, signing up, posting etc. just to satisfy a little internet grudge. Again and again.

SUPERFUTURE GHETTO thread: All things Supertalk

It's because it's set up in a similar way to frames (**** at the top, **** on the left, supertalk in the middle/right) That's how websites were like 10 years ago...or more. It's how amateurs who've never made websites before design their websites (that's how I did it for a school project when...

    Hickey removal

Seriously. One of my friends did it to another for ***** and giggles at a party when we were younger. They're like jocks...so that explains any homovibes, but still, waiting for my friend to come up with an explanation for it all was a riot.

MEGA PEACOAT THREAD - 61 threads merged - all Peacoat questions HERE

Think I'm going to settle with the 38" schott pea coat. Though my chest isn't that big, from shoulder to shoulder it's about 18-18.25", and if j can't fit into a 36 at approx the same size, it'd be best for me to get the 38 me thinks. You guys in the US don't realise how lucky you are to have...

How much sleep do you clock in daily?

^^^ Is why I'm looking forward to 5 years time when I finally graduate. Thank God for overworking for a slave wage...not saying that $40-50k is a bad deal, but for the hours, things could be better. Also 5-6 or 9-11 I haven't had a good 7-8 in a while **** is pissing me off

MEGA PEACOAT THREAD - 61 threads merged - all Peacoat questions HERE

If you have to "expand" to get a 39" measurement then you probably want a 36. What's your shoulder measurement? My shoulders are 18" so I can't fit in a 36 but if yours are less (17.5 or less), you'll probably be fine. By that, you mean like pit to pit, right, in which case I'm about 18.5 at the...

MEGA PEACOAT THREAD - 61 threads merged - all Peacoat questions HERE

I'll measure myself tomorrow or something. I was just guessing at my expanded chest, last time I measured, I was 37 normally so I took a stab in the dark for inhalation. Not big, but w/e, I hate being inbetween sizes.

x-post from another thread Not trying to hijack the thread, but how dark are the Schott Dark Navy Peacoats? I be wanting a Charcoal/Black one asap, but if the Navy ones are dark enough, I'll get that. Also, I did a quick search for sizing, I reckon my chest be about 39" expanded, anyone...
