Jacques Marie Mage - Wolves, Obnoxious Acetate and The American Dream

Tried the Anita on a couple years back when they may have been something like sub-$700 CDN at my local retailer. Seriously regret not buying them.

Nice fit on the Enzo from this guy.

IIRC it’s the sister brand of Native Sons. Believe Tommy O’Gara is behind it. Although, I may be mistaken. I do recall posts by him in previous years on his IG feed.

Brah! Hope this is not true! When Jannard sold it certainly went downhill quality-wise, creativity-wise, and many other ways for Oakley. Know people hate Oakley, but I grew up with it and it defined a lot of my childhood. Serious nostalgia for me. Probably why I like the JMM wraparounds lol.

Apollo in Chocolate acquired. 30% off from my local dealer. Know the JMM wraparound frames are somewhat polarizing here….but wow. Not sure how high I rank them in my collection, but it is Top 5 on initial feel and look. The chocolate coloured acetate is incredible in person. Apologies to the...

Thanks! You’re a good man! Im holding strong. May be eyeing a hickory fade molino while in Orlando for work next week.

Thank you. I guess I am naive. This type of thing never even crossed my mind when posting. Super happy you were able to get the Ari and marigold Loewy, though! You’re a true collector.

Well this is ridiculous. I was the one who linked the retailer. I see now that we have interlopers. In the future I will not link and will indicate for people to PM. I feel complicit in this nonsense now. Apologies.

Damn. That’s the colourway my retailer has too. Also was sent a picture of a local pair of Chrome Hearts essentially in the jmm rover colourway. With this thread and those pictures incoming it’s hard to stop myself.

Absolutely love the look. That local retailer of mine has a pair that’s been tempting me for months now.

Absolutely agree. I would also clump the Harrison in with them too, which I also purchased. Know some people hate the wraparound style. I’ve always been a big fan.

I love the Clyde. Granted I only tried on the Ari, but they had quite a different feel/look when on. Get both lol.

Yes I was wondering about the shipping costs. Im unfortunately not surprised they are very high. The business I am at does very large volume with UPS (in our case) and the annual shipping costs- even at the highest volume breaks negotiated- are mind blowing to me. These two frames are amazing...

Ah! I apologize! They are really nice people at G! Have not been in too long. I shifted funds to watches a couple of years ago, but constantly am checking their store now to see stock. More recently seeing if the Leclair pops up. Any of you buy the Ari? Another classic I was close to buying...

Agreed. If they aged into a Beige colour, I would be thrilled.
