My Tricker's arrived! Three questions for the community...

At first sight, I love the build quality. I was looking for something to straddle the line between classic / time-off while holding up to the winter. I think these will be grand. Here are those three questions: 1. Is anyone aware of Tricker's segmenting their offerings? I.e. producing superior...

    Velasca Shoes

The blake stitching on the underside is structural, though once it gets torn up (which seems to be happening--the stitches are pretty exposed) then it's only really glue keeping everything together. The aesthetic stitching is on the 'welt':

    Velasca Shoes

As long as your Velasca's are of the blake-stitched variety, the topside of the structural stitching is under your foot (in some models you can peer inside and see it). I took advantage of this year's BF discounts to pick up some boots and a pair of 'Spazzacamin.' I love the longwing blucher look combined with the short, rounded lasts Velasca uses. I'll post some pictures a little later. For now, I'm looking for your thoughts on this much-discussed...

Finally found the overcoat I've been looking for, in Lithuania! Your advice please...

Thanks! Good to know re. the style. Lelija doesn't seem to have much of an online footprint... For no. 2 I'd probably stick with something single-breasted. Perhaps with a lapel and some depth to the 'V'. Couple of ideas below, though I'd miss the belt... One or two of the 'Hammersley' and...

I've been on the lookout for a versatile, high-quality overcoat that falls below the knee for a while. Last winter I was in Vilnius and figured that a Baltic people must make a decent coat. A friend suggested that I check out 'Lelija.' By chance I hit their store at the end of a sale and...

Hello all! I'm in the market for a fully tailored suit. I'm happy to splash 500-1,000 EUR on something that I can enjoy for years (some shirts too?). Fully canvassed, elegant and properly made. I'm not in a rush and would like to do this properly. I'm living in Brussels at the moment and...
