The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

How do people here feel about the Rolex CPO program? I saw that they launched recently in the US through Tourneau and have been considering it for a 14060 and 16710, especially since I am a bit paranoid about buying vintage watches and getting stuck with something that is stolen or has...

A good way to tell is by looking at the straps. The SolarBeat should have a rather terrible vegan leather strap that is pretty smooth in texture, whereas the regular quartz Tank Must has a grained leather strap.

RTW was actually my first thought until my ideal choice (Navy Private White for Todd Snyder) sold out as I was hesitating on pulling the trigger. I unfortunately haven't been able to find a peacoat with similar proportions, details, and lapel in RTW offerings recently. If bespoke, I am...

Has anyone else thought about future-proofing their CM wardrobe for climate change? I'm in the process of developing a CM wardrobe from scratch and have had to think a lot about whether something like a flannel suit or a tweed jacket would ever get much wear in about a decade or so.

Do people generally opt for one or two pairs of pants when getting a suit made? I just started getting into bespoke and was wondering if it was worth it in the long run to just get two pairs of pants every time.

I'm going to see my tailor tomorrow to get some summer suits made. Currently considering some plain navy fabric from the Minnis Fresco, H&S Crispaire, or Fox Air bunches. Are there any other obvious summer fabrics I should take a look at while I am there?
