    HERE AND NOW

I have a pair from each brand (Loakes are the same model than your burgundy ones Botolph, bought at the same time at sales from Herrings), although I would also like some DMs in Boanil leather. The Solovair are Navy tassels. The DMs are the Steed. 3 models are Made in England. Each model has...

Dress Zip Boots: Why So Hard to Find?

Carvil « Dylan » boots. I have a pair in suede but they also made them in leather. Very stylish, will never be out of fashion. Apparently the brand recently disappeared but you probably have a last chance to find a pair online somewhere.

As a younger man with an interest in classic and traditional menswear, how do I avoid looking dated or much older than I am?

It doesn’t mean I don’t like your looks/fits (on the contrary) but that @Ddubs questioning is legitimate: quite difficult to look young in traditional menswear nowadays… French indeed, Monsieur.

I am not sure @mossrockss is a good example as I really thought he was more in his late forties when I saw his pictures 🤭. (No kidding) Try SW&D, BTW it is actually much more challenging to achieve a great look in SWD than in CM.

Rock Your Socks- show your sock, shoe & pant combos

Green your trousers are…bold, to say the least ?... The worse recently seen being probably the red cords. But TBH that too wide pink one isn’t great either. Cheers, C.

Thanks mate… Hmmm better to not take the chance. Will wait for a pair in my normal size (if I find one). Usually the MiE are TTS.

Reasonably priced, Good Quality Classic Chinos

For « reasonably priced, good quality classic chinos » the best I found were the Uniqlo « Vintage regular fit ». Good cut and material, especially for the price ($40). Sadly they are discontinued.

Great post. We’re´bout same vintage I think as I also had one of those Casios and later the first Swatch they made (not skeleton). You made an excellent choice with the 14060.
