Thanks, and thank you for the heads up about them. Will do!

Darn it, I couldn't resist this one. My wife will be thrilled about more incoming shoes!! Of course, I don't have any brown PTBs, so surely this is an essential purchase.

Time to add another LWB to the feed: JC Penny "Classics" line. Not sure when or where these were made, but they do seem to be a step above the Stafford shoes by JC Penny from this V-cleat article. Still a tier-2 or tier-3 shoe, but certainly not bad. A solid workhorse shoe for wet days like today.

Not sure if they still make/carry them, but I bought one from Johnston & Murphy 3-4 years ago that I like a lot. I've also had no issues with Kiwi brushes over the years.

Funny enough, I just got on here to make a similar post. It was shell AE Graysons for me today.

Wore some old US-made Bates shoes today. The shoes are well-built but the CG uppers are stiff and crease easily.

Likely a vintage violation, but I wore these shell AE Grayson loafers for Tassle Tuesday.

Saddle Saturday. French Shriner "Easy Flex". This pair probably isn't very vintage. Construction-wise they are a lot different than my Sears "Easy Flex" longwings, which are built similar to my other gunboats. Similar to the Sears longwings, the "Easy Flex" name is a bit misleading. This...

Florsheim Friday. These seemed like a good shoe to "cap" off the week with.

The "Faux-lden Harvests" got their first wear of the school year today. Some day I'd like to create a forest green pair and a blue pair as well.

96624s today. These are always a pleasure to wear.

I believe that Jarman was the verdict of this group when I first posted these a couple years back. Thank you, though. These were some of my first vintage shoes and remain one of my favorite purchases. Worth a try if you find a pair in your size.

Had to get Sear-ious for the start of the first full week of school. These Sears "Easy Flex" are among my most comfortable shoes for being on my feet all day. The name is misleading though: these are much more stiff/supportive than they are flexible.

The new school year is here. Florsheim Imperial cap toe oxfords for freshman orientation today. This is a late 90's "Assembled in the USA" pair. The quality is decent but not nearly as nice as my 96624s from the same era (which are also only "assembled" in the USA). I still enjoy wearing them...

A couple rounds of shoe cream made these Executive Imperials look much more lively.

Vintage violation, but I came across these AE for a steal and decided to get them to bring back to life. I did not know the model, and the uppers looked as though the previous owner spent much of his time kicking things and/or people. But, the soles/heels were in good shape. My original intent...

You are an influencer of the vintage shoe world! I appreciate the collective wisdom of this group. Knowledge from this group has helped me to find some nice pairs. I too have some Sears by Jarman that I enjoy. Another comfortable pair with a great fit and a solid build. 'Twas one of my first...

You speaking well of them on this forum is what put them on my radar. That was also the case with Sibley's Detroit. The Sibley's shoes are one of my best-fitting, most comfortable pairs. I have a feeling these Executive Imperials will be as well. Your tier 2 recommendations have been great for me!
