Anyone out there with Rheumatoid Arthritis? Looking for shoe recommendations

Ironically I found this forum about a year and a half ago, as I was looking for a comfortable set of shoes. I was convinced that my stacy adams monk straps were causing my newfound foot pain. Fast forward a few months, and turns out I was diagnosed with RA. Now that covid is over and I'm...

    The Official Carmina Sizing Thread

Anyone wearing a 14US that has experience between inca and rain lasts? I wear a 14US, and need a little extra room in the toe box, but any time I go with a "wide" shoe size, there is typically too much play in the heel. I think my heel is average to possibly even narrowish. Anyone in Denver...

    The Official Carmina Sizing Thread

After reading most of this thread it actually seems like I may be more of a 13 rain last. Perhaps even a 12.5 rain for a double monk, all the way down from a 14 US. I’m about 4.75-4.8 inches from side to side at the front balls of my foot.

Size 14 wide toe box, narrow heel struggling to find monk straps that fit

I keep hearing mixed things about the Inca. I initially thought that as well but then I read where someone was saying that the toe box would be more cramped than the rain. I need something that’s going to be a good 4.75-4.8” across the ball with a standard heal

Shoe Recommendation - Wide Forefoot, narrow heel

who can make me a mtm shoe for around or under 1k? All I want is a fine leather monk in 13.5-14, that is wide enough for my forefoot and narrow enough for my heal. This shouldn't be so hard.

    Fiori Di Lusso Shoes?

Anyone else have longer term experience with these? I just came across these and they look great in pictures. Seem to be on heavy mark down at the moment but I get the feeling that they are perpetually on sale. A bit like women’s clothing at kohl’s

High End Shoe Shops in Houston TX?

So I went to Lobb today. Beautiful shoes. A little more than I wanted to spend, but I would’ve splurged... except.... they don’t do 14’s. To do 14’s in the style I want would put me in the 1400 dollar range. Just to rich for my blood. If anyone was wondering, a bespoke pair will set...

    The Official Carmina Sizing Thread

I am 14D on the brannock, I recently tried on a pair of AE standard oxfords (I think 65 last?) and they put me at a 13EEE. I think he was just trying to squeeze me into a shoe that they had in the store. I tried on a pair of st johns monks in 14d, and while the heel was just about perfect...

High End Shoe Shops in Houston TX?

What are my options? Willing to drive an hour or two. Specifically looking for ones that carry 14's and possibly wide sizes. I'm beginning to think I may need an MTM option as well. Didn't care for the AE shop or the shoes when I visited yesterday.
