Just vanished. My messages remain unanswered.
On another note, has anyone used the ‘Custom Made’ contact form on the EG website? I submitted two requests last week and have not yet received a response. I’ll try the sales email next but was more curious about past experiences.
Question for the thread. Do shoes with the norvegese storm welts (270 and 360) still have the same arch support of the standard pegged waist shoes? I know the pegged waist isnt the only factor in this but more interested in experiences with the two.
Im heading to Leffot in a couple weeks to...
Why say lot word when few word do trick?
Been thinking about selling my EG espresso suede Dovers 606/HAF in 10.5/11 E UK. Lightly worn and in great shape if anyone’s interested. Currently looking to try 11/11.5 D width in my next 606/202 purchase. I think it’d be perfect.
Hah saw them this morning whilst searching for "some nice less expensive footwear". Some how that search always ends looking at EGs. I love the clove suede and it will look even better once the burgundy shell lightens up a bit.
Sizing question for anyone with 72 last experience. Is it large...
Guys, I hate to do it but I cannot partake in the Dundee GMTO. As awesome as it is, I have too many other obligations right now. There's a chance I will be out of the Zug one as well (too early to tell) but will still organize it for the group.
Thanks! I'm a sucker for the unstructured toe and the preforated cap toe is enough for me to justify it. And now i can add commando soles to my icy mocha pair.
@grizzlygiant will these be posted for preorder?
Edit: just saw you submitted the order a couple weeks back
hah! Still doesnt make any sense to me since they dye the uppers prior the adding the welt anyway. The JW tankers are very, very cool.
Nothing mentioned here but I do believe Milohshop posted a pair of used color 4 service boots for sale on IG. Shoot grizzlygiant a PM.
So to add to the confusion, I've experienced some size variance in the last 6-8 months or so. I went from wearing my 325 lasted boots with thick socks to wearing close to my thinnest socks and have just enough room. The difference is more noticeable in my Lindricks and the Galway 2 is okay...
I am debating the same. I have been speaking with a few owners of snowdons as well as come CJ staff and they recommended I go up to 11UK in 228. I think this would render the boots way too large everywhere else to accommodate the extra few mil I need for my 3rd and 4th toe on my left foot...
To echo others, Bick4 is definitely worth a try. It is the only things ill use on my light colored shell since its very gentle but also very effective. CJ shell tends to have more dry spots than other makers and my solution is to add Bick4 and let it sit for a few hours or overnight then brush...
