Heat resistant gloves would be a nice addition, though if they existed, they were lost before I ever got a chance to use them. And yes, a cleaner you run through to keep sediment build up to a minimum. Super straight forward machine. Fill with water, turn on preheat, wait til light turns off...
We used a Jiffy when I worked for Brooks Brothers to steam garments. It worked like a charm. Jiffy makes commercial grade stuff, not sure about Rowenta, but really was impressed with Jiffy, and we used it almost daily for years without any issues. Just don't overfill the water.
The top badge is a Marine Corps combat aircrew badge. So the guy that belonged to was not a pilot, but an enlisted Marine. Officers/pilots never received them. The bottom badge I dont recognize from my time with the Marines. So maybe it was mixed in with his stuff or he collected from other...
Just a tidbit of information for the group regarding BB shoes. Going forward, BB no longer has a contract with Allen Edmonds or Alden. The newest line is "1818" they are pretty terrible because they wanted a low price point, entry level shoe ($298) for mass appeal. They're made in...

Edit: who knows then?
Vintage loafer find today, sadly not my size, but haven't seen many of these around. Thought ya'll might appreciate some shell.

Milanese brand I've never seen "Cardinale", but insanely comfortable for personal. No size/model marking, only a handwritten letter "M" on the tongue. MTO maybe?

Sounds good to me. When I'm back at homebase we can make that happen.
Store was busy and just so happened to check shorts where nobody was looking. Always on the lookout for militaria and color caught my eye. About fainted when the pair right next to it was identical EG. The brand is def on my...
