@Seph Hey Seph, noticed a few new collars, but also that the Milano button-down collar some of us were discussing recently is now gone. Is a new version of it coming back soon?

Thanks for the question – it did make me reassess my stance and flesh it out further for myself. Here’s my current thoughts: There’s nothing inherent about wide striped shirts that make it more or less timeless – after all, it’s just a particular scale of a particular pattern. When I used the...

Speaking of striped linens and linen-cottons, it'd be good if the stripe widths could be more middle-of-the-road (say, 3-4cm) where they still make a visual impact without being overly "loud". Personally feel that pencil stripes kinda miss the point, whereas the wide and extra-wide stripes...

Was very close to going with the Soft Roma BD on my latest order, but I too wasn't convinced enough with what we've seen so far to drop the cash for it. @Seph long shot, but given the current discussion, any chance you or a colleague has the Soft Roma BD collar on a shirt that has been washed a...

Thanks for the insight! The jacket's waist is already quite slim though, but I'll check with my tailor if he can isolate just the skirt.

MTO Guabello Blue Brown Guncheck (order placed on 27 September, delivered 1 December after a few days in holding at the UPS facility). Was initially afraid that the blue would stand out a lot more, but thankfully -- for my preferences -- it's the brown that draws the eye. Juxtaposed with the...

Bit of a long shot, but did anyone else get the new soft roma button down collar? If so, what's your thoughts on it?

I have the Baird McNutt linen in Olive but not the G&R. Going by the typical understanding of Italian and English fabrics, the G&R should be lighter and thinner in feel, and this is supported by PC's wrinkle-resistance rating of 1/5 for the G&R and 2/5 for the Baird McNutt (my Baird McNutt does...

Would PC therefore consider washing the fabric as a standard operating step (i.e. for all fabrics offered) before cutting and sewing? Maybe even run them through an industrial dryer of sorts to remove as much shrinkage as possible. It feels like this might alleviate sizing issues for both us...

I went for 'lightly lined and unfused' for a brushed oxford cloth and a cotton-linen -- both collars turned out pretty good, and the C23 will give you plenty of roll. I did later specify a 'very lightly lined and unfused' interlining for another cotton-linen and it did feel a bit too floppy...
