    Split Toe Derby

Yes, they did show me these sketches as well. I'm currently deciding between a Dover style split toe or their sketch number 11 which is a pretty similar look to Enzo Bonafe's and JM Weston's (but sleeker than JM's haha). The thing I'm put off with is that they are asking for 100 percent payment...

    Split Toe Derby

Yes, please do update us! I've seen Thunder Merch make a review of their original split toe derby pattern. They have since updated it by shortening the apron and cleaning up the proportions. I like the new design much better. I didn't know you could modify a pattern with them? I guess there...

    Split Toe Derby

Hi everyone. Has anyone here tried shoes from An Hy in Vietnam? I'm messaging them now via e-mail and would like to hear more about the brand and the quality of the shoes from those who have experience with them before pulling the trigger. Thanks a lot!

Thank you! I'm choosing between saddle brown hatch and dark brown utah calf. Looks wise, they're very similar. Just wanna hear how they both hold up over time! Would love to own a pair in each leather in the future haha

What are your thoughts on the differences between Horween hatch grain and Haas Utah calf? How differently do they wear and age?

Thank you very much for your suggestion. Unfortunately, they stopped replying to me in IG when I was asking about the characteristics of their different lasts... Awesome leather selection from them though. Would love either saddle brown hatch grain or dark brown utah calf

    Split Toe Derby

Hi! No, I don't mind at all. Here's what they quoted me. Made to order : usd 520 + 50 made to measurement + fitting : usd 650+ shipping 50 + 100 fitting I've been lurking around here for a while now and been obsessively researching split toes. I think this particular Fugashin model has a good...

Wow! Thanks a lot! I'm not sure if they'd agree to an arrangement like that. I'll see and follow up here.

I see. Yeah, I'm not so confident with the polish / patina idea... Just wanted to see if anyone on here had experience with something like this!

    Split Toe Derby

That's true. Sad they don't have much leather options. I guess I won't be pushing through with it then. I like their pattern and last design though. By the way, I'm a huge fan of your blog. Your articles are incredibly well-written. Thank you for taking the time to help me out!

    Split Toe Derby

Yes. They're saying they have light brown in stock and they patina it with black polish to get it to dark brown. So not a good idea you think?

    Split Toe Derby

They say they only have light brown and to get dark brown they apply patina to it... So I'm guessing it's not good then?

    Split Toe Derby

Hello everyone! I'm in the process of ordering a MTM Split toe from Fugashin. They sent me this photo of their horween hatch grain. I'm interested in the dark brown color but I'm concerned that the patina will rub off and it won't age well. Do you guys have any thoughts on this? Any help /...

Grant Stone - Official Affiliate Thread

Hi Grant Stone, Do you guys plan to stock E widths on your chelsea boots? I'm a 9.5E on brannock and I'm afraid that 9D will be too tight or 9.5D will be too loose.
