    Ysl vs. gucci

I like both the lines, but I'm not a fan of any of the 'head to toe' looks. I like taking certain pieces and mixing them with different things. My favourite Gucci collection by far was fall/winter 2000. I'd take anything from that collection and wear it till it disintigrates. As for YSL, I like...

    HOF: Member pictures

Haha, thanks guys. Those are actually the Dior Homme ripped jeans from Strip. The sneakers are from the same collection and the shirt is by 'You'. I had never heard of it before. I bought it from a neat little shop in Nice, France. I guess I do stand out a little here in my small Canadian city...

    Difference between stylish and effete?

I think it really depends on the person and attitude. I don't expect to see a priest or a business man wear a pop art Donatella Versace shirt. However, with some people (say, people who work in the arts, or younger guys), I could see them looking good in something like that. What really matters...

Wearing your collar down is for poor people

I've been cracking up at that stupid elitist thread and the anti popped collar club. Especially the 'collar foldage' part. I though it was just a style. I had no idea that people associate it with wealth and whatnot. Anyways, I've never done it because it looks stupid. It you want a popped...

    Number of shoes you have...

I have 13 pairs. And yes, I do have a favourite. I bought Dior Homme high top white sneakers while I was in Paris in March. Those things are beautiful.

    Holt vs harry

I'll probably be the only one, but I really like some of the things Donatella comes out with. The pop art shirts, specifically. I do hate the flashy printed silk dress shirts, though.

    Holt vs harry

When I was in Toronto, I frequented the Harry Rosen in the Eaton's center. I found they had a nice selection, but it wasn't as big as the Holts on Bloore, so they naturally didn't have as much. The casual section was very small, and they had rack upon rack of suits. The sales associates I talked...

    Designing your own clothing

I think I'd rather play around with the cut and hardware than the wash. I want to rip out a waistband from a pair, but sew the beltoops back on, without the band. Maybe sew an extra waistband and a bit of the fly onto the top of another pair. Then the actual waist could be the one I attached...

    Designing your own clothing

I've toyed with the idea of customizing jeans, but I haven't the time. I have come up with a few ideas, though.

    Levi's premium

If I had only posted this earlier. That's a really good deal. I would have bought a few. Oh and FYI, the rise is actually 7 inches. Still very low.

    Levi's premium

That's kind of why I want them, actually. :O $12? Wow. I haven't seen any on Ebay for less than $30-40.

    Levi's premium

Maybe we should have some sort of denim guide as a HOF. You know, for each brand we could describe the cut, quality and fit. Just so topics like these don't come around all the time. I'm sure it would be pretty helpful.

    Levi's premium

I wear a 29 usually, but I've never tried women's jeans. I saw a model that I really liked. Offender I think it was. There was an Ebay auction for them yesterday in a 28. It ended though. I just don't want to spend any money on jeans that don't have a good fit or quality.

    Levi's premium

Does anyone have experience with this brand? How is the quality, cut and fit compared to other high end denim labels such as Diesel, PDC, etc?

    (your interior style

Contemporary is defined as 'of the now', whereas modern is more of a design style than a time period. I like modern clean lines, absence of colour, industrial materials and interesting artwork. A design style that most people would find hard to live with. As far as furniture goes, I like...

Coming soon - built by wendy for wrangler

I hate the logo placement on the back pocket of those Wranglers.

    Diesel cut?

    Okay. Thanks a lot.

    Diesel cut?

All I really have to go off of are most of my jeans which are 29's, and the Dior pair I bought in Paris, which are a 30. Although, I tried on another Dior model there at the store in a 29, and they fit fine. I suppose a 29 in Diesel will be okay then? The auction ends tomorrow.
