Random Fashion Thoughts (Part 3: Style farmer strikes back) - our general discussion thread

@Maxwellll EG did a Hoka collaboration, and some of their styles are appealing in a "modern ugly sneaker" way. I will probably never buy a pair but kinda I want to

Random Fashion Thoughts (Part 3: Style farmer strikes back) - our general discussion thread

@gdl203 interesting. I own the NR cph biking jacket, I believe in superlight, but it's fairly cyberpunk and is short in the front as far as raincoats go, so it's not my go-to everyday raincoat. If a NR preorder in the future lets me make a super light m65 I might do it. I've been wearing the...

Random Fashion Thoughts (Part 3: Style farmer strikes back) - our general discussion thread

I wonder about a Norwegian Rain M-65 in their super lightweight fabric as a summer raincoat. @gdl203 any chance of such a thing in the future?

    The Contentedness thread

I thought this thread needed to be revived so here we are. I wanna talk about this Epaulet belt I bought in 2011, an unfinished bridle leather belt. Here's a product photo from back in the day and here's my belt now I have worn it probably half the number of days since I got it in...

Random Fashion Thoughts (Part 3: Style farmer strikes back) - our general discussion thread

@dieworkwear I wanna second or third or whatever Boyd's. I went in last month and it felt nicer than any Barney's I've been in. And the main space with the trees and ponds, not really the stores themselves, at Bal Harbour. I can think of other stores that are cinematic or romantic or something...

Random Fashion Thoughts (Part 3: Style farmer strikes back) - our general discussion thread

@Coldsnap I recommend putting wide-shouldered hangers on your shower curtain rail so you can hang-dry things instead of having a drying rack always set up. my dryer is for underwear, socks, towels, and 90% of my tees only. if you're not already, run your dryer on low heat. @cyc wid it wasn't...

That Kindal store is cool; the one in Kyoto actually impressed me more. Smaller but stuff I actually wanted to buy. Go to the beautiful two story Porter store near cat street. Go to a Kapital store.

@AJL happy with both, yeah. The 420 is my fav: The short front on it makes it look a little more purposeful. And the placement of pockets is imo better.

The What Are You Wearing Today (WAYWT) Discussion Thread, Part II

@AJL i just sat down and measured two of my Tender button up shirts. the stuff from the brand i've seen runs big, but how big appears to vary. with how big these are, any shrinkage has not been noticeable. not sure if shrinkage will differ between shirt materials/dyes, or about tee sizing. with...

Epaulet shop - Official Affiliate thread

@malwear People use Shoe Goo for that, with mixed rates of success. I think you can use contact cement too. I've used contact cement to get a shoe sole to stay on, but my success with it is also mixed.
