I love pocket squares. I won't wear a suit without one. I only personally wear two folds 99.9% of the time: The presidential and the puff. While I have worn both many times I still have a hard time getting a perfect presidential fold that looks crisp with a straight edge, that fits perfectly in...
I'm not sure what the pockets are ill have to check. I imagine though that if any significant amount of the polyester is removed that it would be much more breathable, even if the pockets were still there. but thats just my guess. Thank you both very much for the replies
Since I started my desk job I have been getting terribly hot, sweaty, and smelly (in the legs/crotch) on days I wear polyester trousers or trousers with polyester linings. I know this is the issue because the same never happens when I wear cotton jeans/chinos.
Can I remove the polyester lining...
I feel you and agree. I would not call my shirts tight but when I move they do "pop open" once in a while. I usually fix it quickly because I know some people have an issue with chest hair lol.
I think that generally, with a suit jacket & no tie, having two buttons undone on your dress shirt looks better than just one. However, I am a man with a pretty hairy chest and I know some people would not want to see that; especially in a work environment. I definitely do not want to get...
I can see why you think that mate. But This would be my 4th suit (and I have maybe 7-8 sports coats). Im wearing one in my pic! I have a dark charcoal one, a light grey suit, and a navy suit with a very subtle check pattern. I would just love a maroon one, even if I only wore it once a year. Any...
My school color is maroon and I would love a maroon suit, however I have had an extremely hard time finding one.
What are y'alls thoughts on a maroon suit (or maybe just a sports coat) and do you know of anywhere to buy a decent one? Thanks!
I suppose it was wrong of me to suggest most of y'all have never worn a black shirt. I said that because you hardly ever see men wearing them and clearly most people on here are against them. I still have it as a goal of mine to try to make them look good in an outfit.
Thank you for giving...
If I could only wear one color it would easily be black. I'm just really surprised there aren't a few more people who have tried it. I would try a streetwear forum but I definitely feel like this is the closest forum for suits/sports coats/dress shoes, just adding in a black shirt
I would be looking for 50-75$ a shirt. Couldn't I just get a CT or Lands End or similar shirt that is not specifically labeled as "non iron". I'm also in the market for some French cuff shirts but I'm fairly new to them. and yeah im looking for a black one too lol
I appreciate that. I always bought non-iron because I figured they either lasted longer or were easier to take care of (as in not needing to iron them lol). This is something I hadn't thought of before. I usually always get them tailored well so I'm not too concerned about fit. But I would def...
