I’m thinking about a tweed Doyle. Espresso Herringbone seems like the only brown option. I was hoping for a brown donegal but that doesn’t seem to be in the cards.
maybe the Sherlock....
what fabrics do you all like?
Several years after getting ride of my old worn out J Crew military jacket, I broke down and picked up another... this one I anticipate being much nicer. If I get the same amount of wear out of this one it will be (too much) money well spent!
Fujito jungle jacket - incoming!!
These are amazing. Extremely comfortable and leisurely - while nice enough for most business settings.
new Shetland Jacket... not sure why it’s sideways or how to fix it. I tried rotating the photo. Oh well.
looking at the jacket, the texture... I’d expect it to be coarse. Not sand paper of course, but not what it is. Don’t get me wrong, it’s textured so it’s doesn’t feel like cashmere but it is in no way coarse. It’s pleasant to pinch with your fingers, while at the same time...
My first impression is that the jacket is the nicest piece of clothing I own and possible the nicest sportscoat I have ever seen. Not at all what I expected in terms of heft or touch. Exceeded my expectations in every way. One quick photo below.
