Its a very heavy moleskin that is not brushed (i.e., European workwear moleskin). So the surface is very smooth, dense, and stiff (hence the leather similarity), with a typical fabric weight of at least 600g/m² . Quite tempted by this Frank Leder Deutschleder coat. The fabric is very water-resistant and windproof, so would make a lot of sense in the climate here (Amsterdam). On the other hand, certainly have plenty of coats, including a caban/peacoat in Deutscheder...- Superb0bo
