Those look nice to me SirGrotius. Would obviously work well with black denim. Might get a pair myself.

It's all looking really good. I fancy a pair of these but no 45s. Does anybody know if they had them and they've sold already, or it it likely that they just haven't had delivery of them yet...

Those Derby shoes look perfect. Definitely will be picking those up. I've waited since the SS / AW 13 for a replacement to the almond toe 2 hole Derby and these will be perfect. The jodhpur boots posted a few pages back in suede look nice too, strap at a better height than the SLP ones which...

Looks good so far, like he's picking up where he left off. The biker leather looks nice might get one. Jeans and belts too. Lots of nice shoes (double monks and the Derbies I'll pick up). Pretty much everything is looking great so far, like I'll be able to just add to my Saint Laurent...

Saint Laurent Paris - Official Thread.

Shoes are supposed to be roomy. Lots of people are wearing shoes that are too small for them because their correct size feels loose when they first try them. Once the sole breaks in all slippage tends to disappear and you're left with a really comfortable fit. Personally I take US 12 in Nike and...

When hemming jeans be sure to wash them how you're going to be washing them in future, and wear them for a couple of weeks, otherwise the shrinkage from washing, and the shortening of length from the creasing behind the knee can leave them too short if you hem them when they're new.

I don't think we'll be disappointed. I'm sure there will be all the usual Hedi signature items. I'm going to go all out from the start this time as I don't want to miss anything. I might pick up the army Derby from SL, maybe another Hedi boot in black calf, then I'm done unless they bring...

Saint Laurent Paris - Official Thread.

Am I the only one that no longer feels any interest in buying Saint Laurent now that Hedi will be back designing? I have a pretty good wardrobe of Saint Laurent anyway, and now I know I'll have options next year I don't feel any pressure to stock up on what's left of his stuff at SL, or to...

Permanent collection items still had silver chain though.

This will be the nail in the coffin for Saint Laurent Menswear I imagine. Nobody is going to still be buying Wyatt's after seeing them every season for the last 5 years when there's new Hedi designs. I imagine sales will be big and that has got to impact similar menswear houses.

The last one is D02, and the second from last is D10.

LVR also has the black raw D02 and the D10 from Hedi's time. The D10 fit around a size smaller than they did for AW15 though. Great news on Hedi. Can't wait will have to make sure I have plenty of money set aside I don't want to miss out on anything this time.

They've been on there a while. AW 16 or SS 17, not sure which.

Blake Chelsea is so nice. I still can't believe YSL stores here didn't stock them.

Not sure what you're going on about, but Chelsea boots have been pretty ubiquitous in the UK for as long as I can remember and I'm 34. And no it wasn't only within the indie scene. Perhaps they're more popular now though.

Chelsea boots have been a part of the British indie scene for as long as I can remember. I still have Dior Home Chelsea boots from 2005. It wasn't only designer labels making them either, as all the shops like Topman and Office were full of pointed Chelsea boots back then, and all the kids were...

Got mine from Harrods, not many sizes left though.

Yeah they're underrated. Look great with short leathers like the L01. I have the black slim too and love those as well, especially with the PC denim jacket and Devon boots / SL 01 white low tops. I still wear skinny mid waist and low waist black, but it's nice to have the variation.

I picked up the slim recently in the indigo as it looks unlikely that the D02 will be back. The slim looked cool in the SS 2013 lookbook with the turn up anyway so I'm pretty glad to have those.

I agree the raw indigo is great. I need to find some myself as I've moved up to a 30. I have two brand new pairs that I'm going to be selling when I get round to it in 29 if you happen to take that size.
