Frye Natural Vegetable Tanned Longwings! (James) - 9D
Up for grabs is a really interesting pair of shoes, they're made by Frye, and while they're not US-made, I gotta say that these are pretty great quality! The leather is natural, veggie tanned, so it's got the hue that many denim enthusiasts favor. I haven't worn them more than 5 times, but...- david3558

ALDEN UNLINED Blue Suede Dover/PTB {US 8.5D - Barrie Last, Oiled Flex Welt}

Why don't you throw a picture up here - I don't know what H404's are. Assuming you're not talking about the Kudu Indy's are you? B. Nelson can do rubber (by Vibram) soles on goodyear welted shoes for $60 + s/h. (I'm gonna assume that yours are goodyear welted, since nearly all Alden...- david3558

BlackLapel.com - any experience with them?
BlackLapel is awful, I'd avoid them at any cost - speaking from experience and friends who've used their service, I can't believe we even wasted our time and money on this garbage (sorry if I'm being too harsh). My roommate literally just got his AS 99 shoes in this morning - he also wears Barrie lasted shoes (LWBs). He's a US 7D in the Barrie and UK6.5 on the AS 99. He says the AS 99 is snugger all around but that's what he went with. The toebox is much slimmer on the AS 99 according to him.- david3558

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.
