La Portgena "Fat Carter" Briefcase in Sol brown.
$490 CONUS Firm (vs $650+ new)

I bought this about a year ago from No Man Walks Alone and I transitioned my position around the same time to where I don't really need a briefcase and it just hasn't gotten any use since a maiden voyage. It had an initial bath of Saphir Renovateur when it first came out of the box for good measure but other than that, it's been a closet queen.

It's in practically new condition, the only marks are from a normal day's use and you'll eclipse them as soon as you start using it. It really is a great bag and if I saw myself remotely needing it in the foreseeable future I'd keep it, but after a year of it sitting I just don't. My loss, your gain.

Details from La Portegna's site here:

* Capable of carrying laptop and all those heavy working papers in style
* One external pocket
* Detachable and adjustable shoulder strap
* Roomy Interior for business and credit cards, iPhone, iPad, laptop and dossiers
* One internal slip pocket
* Made of vegetable tanned leather. This leather will acquire a gorgeous dark patina and a vintage effect
* Handmade in Spain
Size:
* Width 40 cm x Height 30 cm x Depth 10 cm
* Width 15.7 in x Height 11.8 in x Depth 3.9 in

While No Man Walks Alone no longer stocks the original in leather they do now has the updated "version 2" which is the same as the original except that it includes a backstrap for use with luggage and the shoulder strap has changed slightly. See more here: http://www.nomanwalksalone.com/index.php/fat-carter-2-briefcase-sol-brown-leather.html

Quick note on the "sol" brown color: La Portegna seems to have a range of hues with this. You'll find various stores where it
spans from tan (like on No Man Walks Alone) to mid/dark brown (like on La Portegna's site). I've tried to capture mine as accurately as I can but, if I was going to describe it I'd say mine is more like a cognac; like the front facing picture on the La Portegna site, but a couple of shades lighter.

Will ship USPS Priority 2-3 Day with tracking. It will ship in the No Man Walks Alone box.
