2013 see's the start of a new chapter for Barbour as they start a new collaboration between their Beacon Heritage collection and storied Savile Row Tailors Norton & Sons. Tailors to the gentleman of London since 1821, Norton & Sons are now under the stewardship of Patrick Grant and have applied their clean cuts and authoritarian silhouettes to a series of designs inspired by the traditional artisanal workwear worn by the fishing communities of the Northumbrian coast.
An archetypal piece of fishing attire, the Baleshare Crew Knit is made in England from 100% Shetland wool and is inspired by the classic Guernsey knitwear which Barbour have been producing since 1911. Bringing their experience in precise and considered detailing, the Baleshare features a distinctive textured design and is finished with a ribbed collar, cuffs and hem.
