    Cheapest source for NATO bands?

+ 1 on Maratac from broadarrow.net also Timefactors. There are some reputable sellers on the timezone.com forum as well that sell the "new bond" version as well.

LL Bean + Rogues Gallery = LL Bean Signature

Well, I ordered some things from LL Bean Signature. Washed Oxford Shirt, White size L: Too big and blousey. Damn near 24 inches across the chest and the material was thinner than Gitman, J Crew, Polo or even the cheap (but quite nice really) fitted OCBD from GAP that I have. Even with shrinking...

    The Official RRL Thread

Have a question or two about RRL jeans. I saw the Slim fit in GQ this month. They looked very nice, so I figured why not. I have lost some weight recently and toned up a bit and my previous nice denim was getting a bit baggy. I went to San Francisco, the RRL store on Post St. had a 36/32 which...

    Oak Street Bootmakers

Ok, my brown Chromexcel OSB trail oxfords arrived today. Thank you George for the excellent customer service and fast shipping on a great shoe! While I can't compare to Quoddy or any other high end boat shoe/moccasin company, my OSB's are beautiful to look at and comfy out of the box. I'd be...

Which boat shoe: Quoddy or Oak Street?

Have a pair of the brown trail oxfords on order, due to arrive on thursday. I am a 10D in most things, but have been measured as a 9.5C-D on the left and a true 10D on the right, so George suggested a 9.5, which is what I ordered. Only taking 2 weeks thus far, full report to come.

These are exactly the same as the LSH Safaris, even have the same model # but these were made for H Stockton and have waxed cotton laces. http://www.styleforum.net/showpost.p...postcount=9121 I found them to be a tad too tight and let them go on ebay. (10D) Thanks man, pic didn't work for...

Would like to see fit pics, with denim in particular, of any Alden tan or snuff suede long wings, bluchers or in particular LSH's Safari boots. Thanks!

    Stainless Steel Watch $500-$700

+1 for JDM Seiko Automatics, they are nice pieces. +1 for Stowa +1 for Sinn, though they are not "dressy" +1 for used Omega Seamaster And who really cares if it has brand recognition at that, or any price range. My current collection is diverse and every watch has a purpose.

Nice SLAB, love the Roy's too! Not sure about the re-order Geoff, but give Samantha a call at J. Gilbert. These went so fast, I can't imagine there not being a re-order. Funny thing is that I originally called to get a pair of the tan wing tip boots, I'm glad they were out if them.

Ok, here are my J. Gilbert Plaza last cap toe boots in Color 8 with commando sole. Sorry the pics aren't great, but you can get an idea of the shape and the deep color. And with the other Aldens I own. These boots are by far my favorite purchase since I got this ridiculous footwear...

I have a question here, and it's a total n00b one. I see a lot of Alden cordovan shoes with leather soles, and even the Alden crepe rubber has leather tips. I also hear about how cordovan is good in the rain (not torrential downpours, but "inclement weather"), and how the crepe sole is great...

The official brogue boot style thread.

Here's mine. Alden AF85 from Alden of Carmel. Was going to sell these,as they were more of an impulse buy (in July for gawd sake) but they have grown on me and proved useful this winter. I have a pair of Plaza cap toe boots in Color 8 inbound and will probably not buy another boot til next...
