Achilles retro is also a good option. its a wider last than the regular achilles for sure, but i think the bballs are wider still. Hope it helps!

Bballs have always been better for wider feet

Ultimately, you should keep them if they feel right for you. Im somewhere in the middle of an US8 and a US9 and a have slightly wide feet. The way my feet are shaped makes it so that i wear a 41 in common projects with a little room in the front just like the picture you posted. It doesn't...

These look legit to me. i think the boldness / texture of the gold text might have changed over the years. The thickness of the heel patch is due to heel drag taking away material on your old pair. I think the rest of the issues you addressed are simply manufacturing variations which is quite...

This company has a habit of not updating their website on time. Their website is currently still stuck on FW19, they didnt even bother updating to SS20 this year.

Good to know, thanks for the insight. Was thinking about getting these instead of a new pair of Bballs. Enjoy them!

They look good on foot. How do they fit compared to achilles? Same size?

I think someone said this on here before but a good rule of thumb for Bballs, if the model number starts with 1 (eg.1842) go one size down from achilles, if the model number starts with 2 (eg.2155) go with your achilles size.

Im a true 8.5 in nike / adidas, had one pair of achilles in 40 which was too tight in the width, went to 41 and although there is a little room in the toe, they fit great. if you are really a half size bigger than me i wouldn't recommend going with a 40 at all. I also have a little room in my...

The 1842 uses pebbled leather in the toe box and on the side panel, and has an additional leather layer on the stitch detail of the shoe. The 2155 fits 1 whole size tighter than the 1842.

I actually just took a look at the ones i wore to work today, and they are similar to your pair, not aligned like the picture.

not in my experience, same length just wider. Maybe because of the extra width you could size down, but i'd try one on first before purchasing if you have the ability to do so.
