Compensating for wide shoes?
I cannot feel the difference between the D and E, but there seems to be a solid crease on the left shoe right between the tip and where the laces are. The crease stays there even when my foot is flat on the ground. Maybe I am overreacting since this is my first "nice" shoe...- ygi68592

Just realized that I only have two solid color shirt out of the five. I feel as if the number of solid color shirts should either equal or exceed the number of patterned shirt at this point in time (as I'm slowly creating my business casual wardrobe). Compensating for wide shoes?
I recently received a pair of Allen Edmonds as a gift and the shoe is a wider than what I typically am fitted for. I usually wear a 7D but this is a 7E. What are some downsides to wearing a size wider and how does it affect the shoe? Is there any way to compensate for the extra width?- ygi68592

Thanks for the quick response! I guess I can always wear a tie the first day (just in case) and take it off if inappropriate. Secondly, I wanted to ask if wearing a watch is considered an "essential" for an internship. I can see how wearing a classic formal watch can come off as being "snobby"...- ygi68592
